Prof. Dr. Ulrich Loewenheim
Prof. Loewenheim has a doctorate in law and is law professor at the Goethe-University in Frankfurt, Germany, member of the faculty of the Munich Intellectual Property Law Center, Munich, Germany, and adjunct professor at the University of Florida, USA. For more than 20 years he has been a judge in the area of intellectual property at the Court of Appeals in Frankfurt. He teaches civil law, commercial law, industrial property law, copyright law, entertainment law and antitrust law.
His major areas concern contract law, intellectual property law, competition law as well as antitrust law. He is editor of leading books on copyright and antitrust law as well as author of numerous articles in these fields.
Prof. Loewenheim has extensive experience giving expert written testimony to businesses and conducting commercial arbitration. He is Past President of the German national group of the ALAI (International Literary and Artistic Association) and member of numerous legal national and international associations.
